digg!

I've sat through numerous presentations, read about it ed tech publications, and still didn't get digg. I was at one of the schools I support today and saw a student using digg. I asked him to explain it to me and in about 30 seconds I got it! Just shows who the heck is really "getting it."

Wow- I thought I'd get back from NECC and have some time to absorb- little did I know! Laptop camps, a complete makeover for a website, inservice for music and science teachers, and blogs set up in TypePad for every teacher in three schools..... and more.

I was looking back on my next to last post on the 2nd Ten: The Web's Next Decade Will Transform Education. I noted that one of the obstacles may be the assessment craze. Who would have expected legislation to be an obstacle? If you haven't seen the stir about the Deleting Online Predators Act, you should read up on it!
